Wingnut Acres is nestled along the rolling drumlins of upstate NY between the fruit orchards of Lake Ontario and the vineyards of the Finger Lakes Region. Partners Paul & April Dougherty and Mark & Kelly Reynolds purchased the farm in 2014, merging their individual small operations, Wingnut Acres and Reynwood Farm, to form one farm entity. Each partner brings to the table different experiences, resources, and expertise. Currently Wingnut Acres produces raw honey, grass-fed beef, pork, pastured whole chicken, seasonal produce, and hay.
While not certified organic everything we do is chemical free and with a heart for the land, animals and good health.
From early spring until Christmas time we open our farm stand right here at the farm to sell whatever products we currently have available. We always have pure, raw honey harvested right here from our own bees and often fresh, brown eggs. When available (it sells out fast!) we have ground beef and seasonal produce. Our asparagus and rhubarb are local favorites! We also have pure beeswax in 1 oz. bars and freeze dried herbs. You never know what you will find in our Little Red Shed at Wingnut Acres. I have been using (Wingnut Acres Grass-fed Beef) for about 9 months and will never buy meat anywhere else This has more flavor than anything I have ever had (anywhere), and the consistency is wonderful. I also cook for my pups and don’t drain it. They have never had tummy issues with it like they do with some meat.
